Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday to celebrate with your kids but with a twist. I tend to be a bit different than what you learn in school. I’ll teach my children the truth about the relationship between the Native Americans and the Pilgrims. But even with the sorted past, Thanksgiving has a lesson to teach our children that’s important to bestow. That is to be thankful and count our blessings.
Leading up to Thanksgiving, throughout November, I love to do different craft activities with my kids. Here are some of my absolute favorites.
Paper Bag Turkey Craft for Toddlers
from Journey to SAHM
Scarecrow Paper Plate Craft
from Finding Zest
DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Rings
From Organized 31
Fall Leaves Butterflies Craft
from One Perfectly Imperfect Mom
Turkey Popsicle Stick Craft
from Simple Everyday Mom
Easy Turkey Craft Using Dollar Tree Supplies
from Hunny I’m Home
Thankful Turkey Thanksgiving Craft
from Mombrite
Pine Cone Turkey Crafts
from Mom. Wife. Busy Life.
Coffee Filter Turkeys Thanksgiving Craft
from Darcy Brain
Turkey Corner Bookmarks
from The Printables Fairy
These are wonderful craft ideas to do with your kids this November. If you have any other favorites I’d love to see them. What’s your favorite lesson to teach your children to be grateful?
