Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday to celebrate with your kids but with a twist. I tend to be a bit different than what you learn in school. I’ll teach my children the truth about the relationship between the Native Americans and the Pilgrims. But even with the sorted past, Thanksgiving has a lesson to teach our children that’s important to bestow. That is to be thankful and count our blessings.

Leading up to Thanksgiving, throughout November, I love to do different craft activities with my kids. Here are some of my absolute favorites.

  1. Love this collection, Sarah – so many cute ideas! A few my girls have made before, but most are new to me – now I know how we can spend Thanksgiving week, when they have more time off than usual this year! 🙂

  2. We still do not have any concrete plans for Thanksgiving so this is timely. We are not having guests this year due to the pandemic thus, I am hoping to prepare more activities for the kids so that they won’t be so bored. Thank you for sharing these ideas. I think the coffee filter turkeys are cute.
